Senior Goalkeeping - Winter
Phoenix FC Senior Goalkeeper Academy 2024-2025 (Winter Season)
Age Group: 13 - 17 years old (size 5 ball group)
Program/ Development Overview:
This comprehensive top-tiered training experience is led by former Canadian Men's National Team Goalkeeper Lars Hirschfeld, with over 25 years of professional playing and coaching experience and holder of a Canadian National B, UEFA B and UEFA Goalkeeping A license.
Participants will delve deep into all aspects of goalkeeping technical skills. Emphasizes is not only on technical proficiency but situational awareness, decision making and mental toughness development to prepare goalkeepers for high-pressure situations on the field. Technical Overview and Commitment:
The program offers a structured approach through a centralized curriculum to develop key goalkeeping skills. Experienced coaches provide personalized guidance to improve each goalkeeper's abilities and confidence in challenging game situations. The program includes exercises to improve agility, strength, and reaction time, crucial for quick and effective goalkeeping and providing a solid foundation for injury prevention to endure the position's rigors.
The semester consists of 12 Sessions of 75 minutes in duration.
Coaching:
Qualified licensed coaches, receiving ongoing training, and mentored by Phoenix FC technical staff.

In cases of unforeseen circumstances, rescheduling will be attempted where possible, but not guaranteed.

$359 for Phoenix Members (12 x 75-minute sessions)
