Jr. Phoenix Exposure Camp

Jr. Phoenix Exposure Camp

The Jr. Phoenix Exposure Camp (JPEC) is for players who are currently participating in the SPDSA Grassroots program (U9-U11).  The goal of the Exposure Camp is to recognize players who have demonstrated advanced soccer skills, good sportsmanship, hard work, a positive attitude and coachability. The camp is intended to give players and families the opportunity to gather information about SPDSA's competitive stream and have their child trained by the SPDSA technical staff.   The camp is hosted for FREE (there will be a $50.00 charge, which will be refunded after completion of the camp) by the SPDSA for boys and girls in the U9-U11 age groups.  The camp will feature a Jr. Phoenix information package, Q&A session and a 1.5-hour technical session run by our qualified licensed technical staff. As we are limited for field space, we can only allow for 24 players per camp session.

We are excited and looking forward to a memorable event as we take this opportunity to provide our members and players with top level coaching and information on the Phoenix pathway. The SPDSA is a National Youth Club License holder (one of only three in Northern Alberta and one of only seven in the Province) and as such, have met the player development standards that the Canada Soccer Association (CSA) has set fourth that will help in the development of players to reach their maximum potential, with the end goal to provide further opportunities to play for our National Teams.
